Follow-up Care
Once your hearing aids have been fitted to your complete satisfaction, we will provide you with detailed information on how they should be maintained. Of course, you can have your hearing aids checked by us at any time. This will ensure that the sound quality remains as good as ever, and will extend the life of your aids.
Test & Audiometry
At Amy Swain Hearing Centers you will be tested by a licensed Audiologist and not just a salesperson. You can be assured of an accurate hearing test and honest advice as to whether a hearing aid can help you or not. It is always best to see an Audiologist if you think you have a hearing loss.
The Ear Impression
Having an ear impression made is quick and simple. The impression material is dispensed into the ear and sets up within a few minutes. It comes out of the ear easily and not messy at all.
The Fitting
It is important to remember and understand that the fitting process can take more than one visit. Often, the sound of the instrument needs to be fine-tuned in order for the user to feel comfortable with it. At Amy Swain Hearing Centers we usually anticipate that the fitting process will take about 3 or 4 visits. There is no charge for these visits.
